Program Overview Faculty of Dentistry

In response to the significant challenges posed by Indonesia's oral and dental health in the Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 era—particularly the critical dentist-to-patient ratio disparity and inequitable distribution of dental professionals across the nation—Petra Christian University established East Java's first private Faculty of Dentistry. Our state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technological infrastructure support comprehensive undergraduate and professional programs that shape the future of dental education. Guided by our foundational L.I.G.H.T. values (Love, Integrity, Growth, Humility, Truth) and Christian values, we train dentists who excel in both the prevention and treatment of contemporary oral challenges, leveraging the latest technological advancements in dentistry.

Graduates of the Faculty of Dentistry, Petra University, are prepared to be high-skilled dental practitioners equipped with advanced expertise in preventing and treating contemporary oral challenges, leveraging the latest dental technologies and guided by Christian values.

Petra Christian University (UK Petra) has achieved the distinguished "UNGGUL" (Excellent) accreditation status, as certified by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) under Decree No. 871/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.KP/PT/IX/2022.
